MARTYN & JIM TOP THE POLLS IN CLUB AWARDS

Full back Martyn Beaumont has been voted the club's Players' Player of the Season and prop forward Jim Green won the Most Improved Player accolade.

Martyn, in his first season with the club, was the club's and National 3 London & South East Division's top try scorer with 28.

Chairman Giles Hilton presented the awards at the Club supper, two days before the first team went on to lift the Kent Cup.

The COBS Trophy went to Chris Hinkins who, after a record seven consecutive seasons as captain, took on a player/coach role.

Ladies Awards: Laura Day, Katie Bales

Special Chairman's awards were presented to: Team Captains Richard Corr (Pilgrims), Martin Reynard (3rd), Sid Young (4th), Senior Squad managers Chris Fullbrook and Andrew Morris; Touch Judge Andrew Rogers; Dave Foster and Miles Howard (House & Ground) and Press Officer David Haigh.
