The club has appointed an Advisory Board to help plan future strategy and provide expertise across key areas. The eight member board will assist the executive committee on a range of constituencies, including compliance, finance, governance, human resources and communication. All the board members have strong associations with the club and bring with them extensive experience in the fields of business, law, finance and marketing. They have been appointed after an excellent response to the club’s call for volunteers in the Autumn. Chaired by Paul Bushell, the board members all have rugby backgrounds as players and/or coaches. Their skills will be directed to off field issues and their role will be to advise and make recommendations to the committee, which remains the decision making authority, in taking the club forward. Board members are Paul Bushell, Richard Cripps, Andy Davies, Mark (Bill) Davis, Julian Hunt, Steve Sutton and Scott Neilson, who will serve a three year term. Giles Hilton is the eighth member who will act as the link between the board and the committee.
