It’s not everyday you get a visit from the England Captain but our volunteers, minis and juniors had a special treat for the first day of this years NatWest RugbyForce weekend. The England International and Northampton Saint’s co-captain treated our younger members to a money can’t buy masterclass session, got involved with helping our volunteers to paint the clubhouse, put his carpentry skills to the test on our new wheelchair platform and entertained everyone with a very open Q&A session where our whole club got to ask any question.

For this years RugbyForce Canterbury RFC has been selected as one of six clubs to have won a £3,000 grant for our ‘Club for All’ themed project.

As part of the prize our #oneclub received A grant of £3,000 towards a project to build a wheelchair platform so our wheelchair visitors can watch all of the first team games at the Marine Travel Ground. We are also making changes to the entrance to the lunch marquee to make it more accessible. As we enter into National League One we are proud to say we will be are open to everyone.
