Careers Hub
Welcome to the Careers Hub at Canterbury RFC
The Careers Hub has been developed to support existing and new players with their career development. The Hub will provide support for individuals who might be seeking to secure their first employment, looking to switch careers, or start up a new business.
Player development is something that is talked about a lot at Canterbury Rugby Club, but a lot of the development activity is off the pitch. With our network of experts and our industry contacts, we are well-positioned to ensure that success can be available to our players once they step off the field of play. Navigating the potential career development minefield can be overwhelming, whether at the beginning of the journey, looking to climb the ladder, or switching vocations. To have people available who have been there, understand the challenges, and can help guide can be incredibly reassuring.
We all enjoy the game, but it is not just about the game. It is about ensuring the wellbeing of our players in whatever form that takes.

We recognise that the relationship we have with our players extends further than the full-time whistle, and by offering this resource we are reassuring them that the club is fully committed to them.
This type of commitment and support is a huge undertaking and requires the whole club, partners, sponsors, and the wider CRFC community to engage and participate actively.
We count ourselves incredibly fortunate to have a community that is willing to get behind this initiative.
We may be one club, but we will endeavour to support each of our players, offering them advice and guidance specific to them individually.

We can provide 1:1 mentoring, free access to online career resources, CV writing and job applications, interview preparation, skills building, and personal development including information on local career events.
We have teamed up with Canterbury Christ Church University to access help to achieve your future goals.
In addition, we can provide support from within the #oneclub community by tapping into careers from our wide range of partners/sponsors, which include:
Accountancy, Architecture, Automotive, Banking, Construction, Education, Engineering, Finance, HR, IT, Law, Marketing, Media, Property/Real Estate, Sales, Travel. To name but a few!!
