How to apply
EXISTING MEMBERS
- REGISTER to play at Canterbury – Once logged into RFU GMS, – under ‘quick links’, update any information.
- VERIFY EMAIL if ‘unverified’ (look under your name and photo on mid -left hand side). Instruction also in table below.
- BUY MEMBERSHIP

- Click ‘buy membership’ on right hand side
- Select your membership from the list and ‘add to basket’.
Note: memberships have a 10% discount if paid by a one off payment by 31st August 2026. Other memberships are set up as monthly direct debits. Select the correct option. First payment taken on set up if preseason and second payment taken in Sept. Total of 8 payments. - Click on your child and select ‘child membership’, ‘add to basket’ then add additional children.
- Once in basket all child discounts will be added to give the payments as above.
- Follow payment instructions.

NEW MEMBERS
To join our club, CRFC, and enjoy playing you will need a GMS account. You cannot be a member unless you have one. All existing / lapsed members will have a GMS account. Both children and parents need a GMS account.
WHAT IS GMS?
Game Management System (GMS) is an IT tool developed by the RFU to assist rugby clubs with their administrative needs, including membership. It is an ever-evolving tool with new functionality being added as per requirements put forward by grass-roots rugby clubs. At CRFC we also take payment through GMS. Registration and active, paid-up membership ensures that players are covered by the RFU’s standard insurance for the season.
New to rugby with no GMS account? Follow instructions below. Once your GMS account has been set up please follow the same instructions for existing members:
