Dave ‘Fozzie’ Foster’s funeral
A message from Wendy, James, Lucy, and Anne regarding Dave Foster’s funeral
Dear All
As you know we have lost our wonderful husband, dad, and brother in Dave ‘Fozzie’ Foster.
Lucy, James, Anne (Dave’s sister), and I are putting on what we believe is a lovely and fitting tribute to him. There are two parts to this:
His funeral will be held on Thursday 17th February 2022, at 1:20 pm at:
Barham Crematorium Canterbury Road (A260) Barham Nr Canterbury Kent CT4 6QU
Followed by the main celebration of his life including the wake and refreshments (yes including alcohol!) immediately afterward at All Saints Church Loose at 3 pm:
All Saints Church
Church Lane
Loose
Maidstone
Kent ME15 0BU
Yes, it is a bit of a trek but this is the church we were married in just 9 months ago and where many of you were due to join us had Covid not prevented this.
We have a number of people giving tributes to Dave and we are offering any of you the opportunity to be part of this celebration by standing up and giving tributes. If you would like to be part of this please can you contact our Vicar, Steve Price via the church office: admin@allsaintsloose.org.uk
Let’s really send Dave off in style with some wonderful stories of his life.
We are asking everyone to come dressed casually and if you have any Canterbury club gear then please do wear this. Please do not bring or send flowers but if you would like to make a donation to our chosen charity then please do so: https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/dave-fozzie
Please can you confirm your attendance at the celebration and wake for catering purposes by contacting the church office: admin@allsaintsloose.org.uk or telephone 01622 741265.
We look forward to seeing you to celebrate Dave’s life and support us.
Lots of love
Wendy, James, Lucy and Anne
Message from the Club
We have received a number of messages from well-wishers who, unfortunately, due to work commitments are unable to make the journey to All saints Loose for the main celebration of Fozzie’s life after the service. For these people, the clubhouse will be open in the afternoon for those who would like to raise a glass in memory of Fozzie.
