Are you aged 16-19 and passionate about rugby? Imagine training like a professional rugby player while excelling academically! The Archbishop’s School, in partnership with Canterbury Rugby Football Club, invites you to join the Archbishop’s Canterbury Educational (ACE) Rugby Academy—a program that lets you thrive in rugby and education side by side.
Why ACE Rugby Academy? With ACE, you’ll train like a pro four days a week under expert England Rugby coaches and Canterbury RFC 1XV players, combining intensive rugby training with your academic pursuits at The Archbishop’s School. You’ll continue your studies in at least three A Level, BTEC Level 3, or GCSE subjects, giving you a well-rounded foundation on and off the field.
What’s included in the ACE Program?
- Professional coaching: Following the RFU elite player pathway, each week you’ll benefit from 10+ hours of dedicated training sessions that cover technical skills, tactical insights, and rugby-specific development.
- State-of-the-art facilities: Train at both The Archbishop’s School and Canterbury Rugby Club, with access to our newly built gym and tailored strength and conditioning programs.
- Regular fixtures & analysis: Compete in weekly fixtures, backed by video performance analysis to hone your skills and accelerate improvement.
- Travel & excursions: All travel is arranged, plus you’ll enjoy exclusive excursions to Twickenham and home matches at Canterbury Rugby Club.
Exclusive qualifications & awards
