2025/26- Mens’ Senior Squad
Overseen by Director of Rugby, Taff Gwilliam, and Head Coach, Matt Corker, the senior men’s squad feeds into our 1st XV and 2nd XV (Pilgrims). Playing in National 2 East and promoted to Counties 1 Kent respectively we play at the highest level of rugby of all rugby clubs in East Kent.
Both Taff and Matt have strong connections with Kent and specifically East Kent.
Taff played for Deal Wanderers, Kent and GB Police. He has secured leadership roles at both club and county levels. During his time with Medway he was instrumental in leading them to several promotions, and with Kent was involved in three National County Championship finals at both senior and Under 20 levels.
Matt played his junior rugby at Thanet Wanderers, moving from school to Univeristy of Bath where he represented them along with England Universities. From there he moved to London Welsh making over 240 appearances over 9 seasons, including two championship winning seasons, two seasons in the English Premiership and one British and Irish Cup win. He was also appointed Club Captain.
Along with Taff and Matt comes a very experienced coaching, medical, and support team, offering access to excellent facilities such as a fully staffed strength and conditioning gym, nutritionists, and sports physios.
